Grades 3-5. Unwrap the mysteries of mummification with a hands-on exploration of the way ancient Egyptians prepared for the afterlife.

Grades 3-5. Register. Curious about mummies? Join us in this hands-on exploration through the steps Egyptians used to prepare their dead for the afterlife.

This hands-on program will allow participants to engage in the crucial steps used for mummification. Each step is explored through a specific task/activity to demystify the process. Attendees will clean a toy, dehydrate a flower, preserve dried flowers, and then prepare a volunteer mummy with toilet paper and props for their "voyage to the afterlife."
