  • September: Sound Exploration. Stop by the Youth area for a hands-on exploration of one of our 5 senses: sound. Test out our string telephone, observe how sound vibrations change, and try your ears with an echolocation challenge. 
  • October: Genetics. Genetics are monstrously good fun! Use Punnett squares to create your own monster. Show off your creation at the Kids Help Desk for a prize!

These activities are designed for grades 4-8. Patrons of all ages may enjoy the activity, but younger children must have adult supervision.
