Enjoy nature and deepen your knowledge of native plants in your yard, local park, or forest preserve. (In person/online)
The public is invited to the monthly meetings of the Lake-to-Prairie chapter of the Wild Ones, a national not-for-profit organization that promotes the use of native plants in landscapes.
Enhance your enjoyment of nature and deepen your knowledge of native plants by becoming a Citizen Scientist in your own yard, local park or forest preserve. There are many ways to record your interactions with nature, ranging from the Audubon Christmas bird count to posting observations on iNaturalist. You can even become a dragonfly, frog or butterfly monitor. Join us and learn more.
Registration is required.
