Now that school is back in session, remember that "even if the library is closed, our databases are open!"  Take a look under "Homework," then "Databases and Online Resources."  Use your Fremont library card to access information for assignments geared through high school.  These are NOT websites, you can use them for your reports.

Come into the Teen Zone at the library and check out this month's displays, which feature:  Steampunk books; Bullies--Don't Let Them Win; Snow is Falling, Books are Calling: Teen Winter Reading Club; Inner Conflict (Where to Turn); and Featured Author: Joan Bauer.

On your way to the Teen Zone, take a look at the large display of BEST BOOKS OF 2012, featuring books for adults, children, and teens.  Remember to stop at the Youth Services for your Winter Reading Club brochure.

Check out THE DIVINERS by Libba Bray if you're looking for a creepy page-turner set in Manhattan in the Roaring 20s.  17-year-old Evie O'Neill is thrilled when she is exiled by her parents from a small town in Ohio to New York, even when a rash of occult-based murders thrusts Evie and her uncle, curator of the Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult, into the middle of the investigation.  Spine-tingling.
