SNOW IS FALLING, BOOKS ARE CALLING!  Teen Winter Reading Club starts early this year--Monday, December 17, so you can take advantage of your free time over Winter Break.  All you need to do is pick up a reading log at the Youth Services Desk (and pick up a small prize just for registering), read or listen to 3 books, and write a short review.  Turn in your completed log and you'll be entered into our Grand Prize Drawing.  The Winter Reading Club runs until Saturday, March 30.

Be sure to check out the "New Fiction" cart in the Teen Zone--there's plenty of books to get you started in the Reading Club!

Sign up for our next FIT program--Iron Chef: Holiday Desserts, scheduled for Friday, December 21, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. We'll provide the ingredients; your team will create, within a certain time limit,  an awesome Holiday Dessert!    There's no cooking or baking involved.  Each entry will be judged (by library staff members) for creativity and taste, and prizes will be awarded to the winning team.   Pizza will be served before the competition.  This is for teens in grades 7 through 12.  Sign up online or at the Youth Services Desk.  Maybe YOU will be the next Iron Chef!
