Calling all casual viewers and cinephiles! Come talk about excellent movies at Fremont’s new film club, You Had Me at Film Club. Each month, we’ll discuss classic and contemporary films while enjoying sweet treats, provided by the Library. No deep film knowledge required, just a love for good movies and good company. Please join us!
This month’s movie: The Quiet Girl
Plot: Rural Ireland 1981. A quiet, neglected girl is sent away from her dysfunctional family to live with foster parents for the summer. She blossoms in their care, but in this house where there are meant to be no secrets, she discovers one.
