Notary Services

The library offers Notary Public services free of charge at the Help Desk on the 2nd floor. 

Hours: 

Sundays 1:15pm - 4:30pm

Mondays - Thursdays 9:15am - 8:30pm

Fridays & Saturdays 9:15am - 4:30pm

Please bring valid photo ID (we cannot accept digital IDs), and remember that documents to be notarized must be signed in front of the Notary (do not sign them beforehand). All people signing the document(s) must be present. You do not need to be a Fremont Library patron.

We cannot notarize:

• Cook County real estate transactions
• Employment verification (IRS form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification)
• Passports
• Photocopies of official documents
• Library staff cannot witness documents; you must bring your own witnesses.
