We invite Fremont cardholders age 18 & older to display their interesting collections in our lobby display cases. Fill out the form on this page to submit your collection. We will contact you to arrange a 2-month slot for your display.

The cases are 45" wide, and the height is 15" for bottom row, 16" for middle row, and 29" for top row. We can make small height adjustments if needed.

If your display is mostly flat materials that would fit on a bulletin board, let us know in your request and we can fit your display in the bulletin board cases on the other side of the lobby area.

Lobby Display Request

Each patron will get the cases for 2 months to display their collections and the Library will provide a sign to describe the collection and the displayer's name as listed in the application. Any additional labels are up to the patron.

I authorize the library to post my first name and last initial on the display case, along with the name of the collection, as I have stated above.

How many cases will your display fill? 2 is standard

When would you like to display your collection? Say "anytime" if no preference.

I understand my collection will be locked in the display case in a space not always monitored by staff. I agree to not hold the library responsible for damage or theft.

I understand that I am responsible for setting up my collection as early in the month as possible. I understand that if my collection has not arrived on or before the 10th, I forfeit the reservation.

I understand that the Library will not supply materials. I may bring push or T-pins to attach items or decorations to the bulletin board background, but I will not attach to the glass any adhesives or permanent fastenings.

I agree to not try to sell these items to the public while on display.

I understand that I must pick up my collection no later than the last day of the month. I agree that if I do not, the collection will be boxed up and stored in an unsecure staff area, and I will not hold the Library responsible for any damage or theft that may occur as a result.

I understand that my display must be appropriate for a public display suitable for all ages. No weapons, obscene language or nude people should be displayed.

I have carefully read the statements on this form in its entirety and I understand that in lieu of signature, typing my name in this box is required in order for me to display my items in the Fremont Public Library District's lobby.
