Overdrive (Libby App) is the only e-book provider for libraries that also includes access to Kindle books, although not all of the eBooks are playable on Kindle readers. The ebooks and audiobooks in Fremont's Libby/Overdrive app have all been curated by Fremont Librarians.

Each cardholder may have 5 checkouts at a time. Items may be renewed two days before the due date if no one else is waiting. You can return titles early to free up your number of available checkouts, and you can place holds on unavailable titles as well as those that you recommend through the Overdrive website.
The maximum loan period on Libby is 14 days. Books without holds are renewable for more time. If you didn't finish a book and there are holds, you can place the book on hold to get it back, and the app will remember where you left off when you borrow it again.
