Exam Proctoring

Fremont Public Library District offers exam proctoring free of charge. Here are the rules:

  • Student must live in the library district, though the student is not required to have a Fremont library card. Not sure? Enter your home address at this website.
  • Student may chat with us, call 847-918-3206 or contact us by email to arrange for the exam time.
  • The student is responsible for contacting the school and having the school send all required materials for the exam.
  • Exams must be scheduled during regular library hours.
  • Online tests may be taken using the student's laptop or a library laptop. Proctoring is done in a study room with internal windows that look out to the book stacks.
  • If the test has to be mailed back to the school, the student is responsible for all postage fees.
  • The library does not have any spaces without interior windows. If that is a requirement for your exam, we cannot proctor it.
  • The library staff do not attend in the room with the test-taker. If that is a requirement for your exam, we cannot proctor it.
