Want to volunteer in the library?

Thank you for your interest in the Teen Volunteer program. The purpose of the Teen Volunteer program is to provide assistance to staff while also providing quality service to patrons, and work experience for teens.

If you are between 13-18 years old, and interested in volunteering, read the Teen Volunteer Policy and fill out the online Teen Volunteer application. After your application is submitted and reviewed by staff, you will be contacted with further instructions.

If you have any questions regarding the program, please contact Young Adult Librarian, Christina Olson via email or phone at colson (at) fremontlibrary.org, 847-918-3212.

*Note: Teens who have previously volunteered at the library still need to fill out this application to be able to access the new volunteer system.

Need hours for NHS, NJHS, Confirmation or high school?

Need to do court ordered community service?

We do not offer that program here at the library. Please contact the Lake County Juvenile Service Program in Illinois at 847-377-7800. You can drop in or call for assistance. No appointment necessary!
